Tick off your fire safety issues with SCT flame-retardant paint
Fire is an unpredictable force of nature, which is uncontrollable but can be prevented. If you are looking for a 100% proven way to protect your property from fire and ward off flame-related deterioration, the best-of-its-kind fire-retardant paint will be a smart choice. But how can a thin layer of a vivid color substance stop the all-devouring fire? The need for proof of our paint’s effectiveness vanishes as you dig deeper into its composition and the way it works as a topcoat.
The secret behind this water-based fire-retardant coating lies in its one-of-a-kind blend of substances that allow for surface breathing while ensuring thermal protection. Our R&D team has gone a long path of trials and errors to develop the perfect vapor permeability formula that keeps water from penetrating the substrate.

This coating fits a variety of surfaces by forming a thin yet reliable shield between them and the substrate. It has no solvents and is easy to apply to indoor and outdoor surfaces, whether painted or not.
No more fire risks with the SCT fire-retardant coating
This fireproof coating ensures a sturdy barrier to be used indoors and outdoors. Its key features include:
the paint is water-based with no distinctive odors
goes perfectly with wood, concrete, and steel
is ideal for indoor and exterior coating for residential, commercial, and industrial uses
absorbs heat from decomposing
accumulates no dirt and is refreshed easily
For this flame-retardant paint to maintain all its properties, you should strictly adhere to the use rules. Before applying the protective layer, be sure to clean the surface by removing rust, dirt, previous coating, and anything else that may impact its integrity. To create a topcoat, you should use 0.3-0.5 kg of this paint per square meter of the surface for each layer. The last one must be re-applied to strengthen the non-flammability properties of the first one once it’s dry. It takes 4 hours for one layer to dry out.
When used as a universal paint primer, you should mix the product with water before application in the 1:7 ratio. 100-200 g of this primer is enough to cover one square meter of the surface, while the consumption rate doubles to 250-350 g per m2 for the anti-rust primer applied to metal surfaces.
Technical specifications
At 25°C, the SCT fire-retardant paint is tested to boast 1,40 ± 0,10 g/mL in density, 7.0-9.0 pH, and 12500-15000 mPa.s in viscosity. The mass of non-fluid solids is 76 ± 2%, with water serving as a solvent.
The Anti-Fire paint has successfully passed ignitability tests according to TS EN 13823:2010 and TS EN ISO 11925-2:2012. It has also been rated to be S1 d0 according to the TS EN 13501-1:2010 classification.
When it comes to water/vapor transmission rates, the Anti-Fire paint sits at the W3 Class (kg/m2. h<0,1) for water and Class II (5≤SD≤50) for vapor permeability. Its pull-off strength and gap bridging properties are tested to be ≥ 0.8 N/mm2 depending on applications.
